According to the 2012 USDA National Agriculture Statistics Survey, over one-thousand New Hampshire farms sell direct to the consumer. Both farm and natural resource businesses have a number of direct marketing channels to choose from including summer and winter farmers' markets, CSA or CSF's (Community Supported Agriculture, Community Supported Fisheries), pick-your-own, and agritourism opportunities.
The Agriculture and Natural Resouce Business Team provides a variety of learning opportunities for producers to enhance their marketing skills. The following marketing programs are offered, but not limited to:
