Effective use of ArcGIS OnlineArcGIS Online for Organizations

This institute will help you fully understand how ArcGIS Online can be used in your classroom and in your school! The use of ArcGIS Online through a subscription account (free for all K-12 schools or K-12 informal programs) expands basic online mapping to include tools using analysis, collaboration, and the creation of engaging interactive maps. Examples covered in the institute will include web apps, analyzing and sharing scientific data, and creating online map galleries. Not only will participants in this institute learn how to use ArcGIS Online, teachers will be guided through the process of setting up an subscription account for their school.

Day 1: ArcGIS Online basics, creating web apps, use of feature services
Day 2: data analysis, collecting and sharing data, setting up an organizational account for your school, managing roles within your account
Day 3: creating an online map gallery, developing a custom homepage, creating editable online maps, using apps to monitor organization usage

All NH teacher participants will receive a $300 stipend 

Non-credit: Free
CEU: Free (1 credit through Keene State College)
Credit: ~$220 (1 credit undergrad or grad through Keene State College)
