June 29th-July 1st

This institute is designed to support experienced geospatial educators as they develop content and skill focused lessons for classroom implementation. The goal of the training is to provide a supportive work environment and plenty of geospatial expertise so that teachers can successfully design lessons for implementation not only in their classroom, but also by other educators working at their grade level and in their content area. Teams of teachers from the same school are encouraged to apply!

1. A reasonable amount of experience with geospatial technologies: this could be met by having attended at least one of the 2014 summer spatial institutes.
2. Experience implementing geospatial technologies with students: we want to know that past institute participants have put into practice some of what they have learned

All GeoPriSM participants attending this institute will receive a $300 stipend*
*NH teachers not participating in GeoPrisM may be eligible for the stipend if this is the first GIS institute they have attended.
