New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest

NH 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Entry and Rules

The New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest is a state-level contest offered to New Hampshire 4-H youth that have participated in their County 4-H Quiz Bowl Contest and/or county preparation events. Quiz Bowl is a knowledge competition where contestants race to answer questions of varying difficulty using a game buzzer board system.

If it is necessary to postpone due to weather, a decision will be made by 6 am on the day of the contest, and the coach or contact person for each team will be notified via email.  If in doubt, check your email!

You do not need to have a horse -- just have an interest in horses and a desire to learn morel!  For more information on how to get involved in your local county 4-H quiz bowl program (or other county's programs), please contact your county UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H Program Coordinator. The contact information for your county UNH Cooperative Extension office can be found by clicking here

The New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest serves as a selection event for the New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl state team. The top eight senior individuals will be offered further training to prepare for the Regional and possibly National Contests. The NH 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl contest is supported by a grant from the 4-H Foundation of New Hampshire.
