Summary:
Learn how to make the power of ArcGIS Desktop shine in classroom!  Flex the muscles of Esri's desktop sofware (free for NH educators and their schools) through a variety of hands-on exercises.  Learn how to create and share data, conduct analysis, and create attractive maps.  Learn how ArcGIS Desktop is currently being used in classrooms, and share your ideas for doing the same.  Finally, learn some new ways to collect data from others, and new ways to share your maps.

Topics:
Day 1: Introduction to ArcGIS Desktop, watershed GIS, ready-made ArcGIS Desktop lessons, share example activites
Day 2: GIS workflow and best practices, georeferencing and digitizing, dealing with projects, creating attractive maps
Day 3: building editable feature services, data analysis with ArcGIS Online, Esri Maps for Office

Goodies:
All NH teacher participants will receive a $300 stipend

Cost:
Non-credit: Free
CEU: Free (1 credit through Keene State College)
Credit: $220 (1 credit undergrad or grad through Keene State College)
